Ty has over 15 of years of experience as a Proposal Manager. She also has vast experience as a Volume Lead, Technical Writer/Editor, Past Performance and Resume Writer, and Documentation and Training Manager. She has written standard operating procedures, management plans, training plans, staffing plans, and hardware/software manuals (IAW MIL specs). As a proposal manager, Ty incorporates PMI, Shipley, and collaborative processes into the proposal planning, preparation, development, and submission process. She works with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Excel, and Visio, as well as Privia and SalesForce.
Ty has a Basic Business Development Certification from Shipley University, a Master Certification in Applied Project Management, and a Master Certification in Government Contracts Management – Essentials from Villanova University. 
Ty is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Balanced Scorecard Institute (BSI), the International Engineering Consortium (IEC), American Strategic Management Institute (ASMI), and Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP).

Dr. Moss is an information technology professional with over 13 years of experience as a technical manager, systems engineer, and software engineer. He is adept at providing technical and managerial leadership through all phases of the systems/software development life cycle. Working with highly matrixed and cross-functional teams, Michael provides deliverables on time and within budget by clearly defining and documenting scope, requirements, tasks, and milestones. He maintains team accountability and assumes responsibility for all aspects of project management. He proactivity identifies risks and implements solutions. Michael’s technical contributions have resulted in professional recognition, to include the Lockheed Martin Spot Award for Outstanding Effort Contributing to Mission Success (twice) and the Lockheed Martin Certificate of Appreciation for Outstanding Effort Contributing to Program Success.
 
Dr. Moss has over 5 years of experience conducting intensive research within the information technology industry. Michael has
  • examined the process of selecting, deploying, and operating information technology within organizations;
  • investigated topics involving technology strategy formulation and business alignment; information technology organization, structure, and governance; implementation and change management; and, organizational learning and knowledge management;
  • reviewed government and industry standards regarding compliance requirements for the safeguarding of data; and,
  • examined governance principles and how they ensure the alignment of security programs with an organization's long-term strategic objectives.
Dr. Moss solves your most critical problems by leveraging technological research, analytics, and business knowledge to facilitate data-driven, innovative change. With increasing amounts of data becoming available from ever-expanding sources, companies wishing to thrive in the digital marketplace must focus on effectively utilizing their data to maintain a competitive advantage. He is passionate regarding the use of data-driven procedures to optimize a company’s decision-making process, resulting in an increased return on its investments. To accomplish this goal, Michael finds underlying patterns in data by developing classification, prediction, optimization, and regression models, using machine learning, econometrics, and statistical analysis.

Serving as a volume lead, writer, and editor, Dr. Moss helps organizations grow by writing technically compliant proposals with compelling narratives for federal government contracts. He supports business development by writing storylines that effectively align corporate solutions with business opportunities Michael has written proposals for Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Information Systems Agency, and National Institutes of Health contracts. The potential value of these contracts ranged from $120 million to $7 billion. His customers included Dell Services Federal Government, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), URS-Apptis, STG, Inc., and Energy Ventures, LLC. Additionally, he has written numerous papers investigating various topics in information technology, governance, assurance, and security.

Michael holds a doctorate (with distinction) in information technology with a specialization in information security. He also has graduate degrees in economics (MA) and administrative organization & management (MPA). Michael’s academic efforts have resulted in his induction into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi (signifying his standing within the top 2% of his graduate school) and Omicron Delta Epsilon, International Honor Society in Economics.

Dr. Moss is a member of the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE), IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, and the Data Science Association.
